Ingredients

  • 1 carrot (half diced for sauce, half sliced for stir-fry)

  • 1 Holland onion (half finely chopped for sauce, half sliced for stir-fry)

  • 3 garlic cloves (smashed)

  • 1 whole tomato

  • Water as needed

  • Cumin powder

  • Turmeric powder

  • Black pepper

  • Puteri Soy Sauce

  • Puteri Vinegar

  • Puteri Dark Sauce

  • A pinch of sugar

     

    Other Ingredients:

    • Spring onions (chopped, soaked in a little water)

    • Cabbage (sliced)

    • Chicken breast (thinly sliced)

    • Yellow noodles / halal ramen / noodle of choice

    • Vegetable oil

    • Salt

Instructions

      1. Prepare the carrot — half diced for sauce, half sliced for stir-frying later.

      2. Cut the Holland onion into two. Finely chop one half for the sauce, slice the other half for stir-frying.

      3. Place diced carrot, chopped onion and smashed garlic into a bowl.

      4. In a pan, cook these ingredients together with a whole tomato and a little water. Let it boil.

      5. Add cumin powder, turmeric powder and black pepper. Mix lightly.

      6. Add Puteri Soy Sauce, Puteri Vinegar and Puteri Dark Sauce. Add a pinch of sugar.

      7. Transfer everything into a blender, blend until smooth, strain and set aside.
