Ingredients

For about 10 – 12 rolls:

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup glass noodles (soaked & cut)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced 
  • 1 tbsp oil (for sautéing)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cornflour + water
  • Cooking oil
  • Puteri Cili Sos & Puteri Tomato Sos (served on the side for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan.
    • Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
    • Add cabbage, carrot, and soaked noodles.
    • Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until just soft.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Let the mixture cool.
  2. Assemble the Rolls:
    • Place 1 tbsp of filling on a wrapper.
    • Fold the bottom over the filling, fold in the sides, and roll tightly.
    • Seal the edge with a bit of cornstarch + water mixture.
  3. Deep-Fry:
    • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Fry spring rolls until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Serve:
    • Serve hot with Puteri Cili Sos and Puteri Tomato Sos as dipping sauces on the side.
