Quail egg shrimp fried sambal

Quail Egg Shrimp Fried Sambal is a spicy stir-fried dish made with quail eggs and shrimp, cooked in Puteri Cili Giling sambal and infused with bold flavors from chili, garlic, and shallots.

Ingredients

  • Quail eggs (boiled & peeled)
  • Shrimp
  • Puteri Cili Giling (already seasoned with salt & tamarind – no need to add more!)
  • Puteri Sambal Belacan 
  • Large onion (sliced)
  • Enough cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Sauté the large onion until fragrant.
  2. Add Puteri Cili Giling & Puteri Mantega Laut. Sauté until the oil rises.
  3. Add Puteri Oyster Sauce and Thick Soy Sauce. Mix well.
  4. Add the fried quail eggs and shrimp. Stir gently until coated with sambal.
  5. Ready! Serve hot, it will add more rice. 
    • Tip: You can also use regular eggs if you don’t have quail eggs!
