Here’s a great Japchae recipe using Puteri Kicap Cair and Puteri Sos Tiram! Let’s make this delicious Korean stir-fried glass noodle dish with a Malaysian twist.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Korean glass noodles (dangmyeon)
  • 150 g beef or chicken, thinly sliced
  • 1 small carrot, sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup spinach or sawi, blanched
  • 3-4 shiitake mushrooms (or any mushrooms), sliced
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Puteri Sos Tiram                 
  • 1 tbsp Puteri kicap Cair
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil 
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Noodles:
    • Boil glass noodles according to package instructions (usually 6-8 minutes)
    • Drain, rinse under cold water, and cut if too long. Set aside.
  2. Stir-Fry the Vegetables & Meat:
    • Heat oil in a pan or wok.
    • Add garlic and onions, and stir-fry until fragrant.
    • Add meat and cook until done.
    • Add carrots and mushrooms, and stir-fry until just tender.
    • Add spinach last and toss briefly.
  3. Add Noodles & Sauces:
    • Add cooked noodles to the pan.
    • Pour in Puteri Sos Tiram and Puteri Kicap Cair.
    • Toss everything together until well combined and evenly coated.
  4. Finish & Serve:
    • Taste and adjust the sauce if needed.
    • Garnish with sesame seeds (optional).
