Here’s a crispy and spicy fried chicken recipe using Puteri Tepung Goreng Ayam – Pedas

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken (drumsticks, wings, or thighs)
  • 1 packet Puteri Tepung Goreng Ayam – Pedas
  • 1 egg (optional, for extra crispiness)
  • 1/4 cup water (if using egg)
  • Cooking oil (for deep frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Clean and pat dry the chicken.
    • In a bowl, mix the Puteri Tepung Goreng Pedas with water (as per the instructions on the packet) to form a batter.
    • Coat the chicken evenly in the batter. Let it rest for a few minutes.
  2. Deep Fry:
    • Heat oil in a deep pot or fryer to medium-high.
    • Fry the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked (about 8–12 minutes, depending on size).
  3. Cook the Fries:
    • Fry or air-fry the fries until crispy and golden.
    • Season lightly with salt if desired.
  4. Assemble the Plate:
    • Place fried chicken on the plate with a serving of fries, lettuce, and coleslaw.
    • Serve with Puteri Cili Sos on the side as a dipping sauce.
