Bean Sprouted Squid Sambal — Tender squid stir-fried with crisp bean sprouts in a rich, spicy sambal for a perfect balance of heat and freshness!

Ingredients

  • 2 dried squid (soaked until soft)

  • 2 ½ small ladles chili paste

  • 3–4 tbsp sugar

  • ½ cup roasted peanuts, coarsely ground


Instructions

  1. Sauté the chili paste until the oil separates.

  2. Add the squid and stir until well combined.
    Do not add water as the squid will release its own juices.

  3. Add the ground peanuts and mix well. Cook until the oil separates again and the sauce thickens.

  4. The dish of the day is ready.

  5. Serve immediately.

Note: Tamarind juice and salt can be omitted because Puteri Chili Giling is already 3-in-1 (contains onion, tamarind, and salt).
