Regulatory and Compliance Executive (QC)

Job Description

  • Regulatory Standards Integration: Implement compliance frameworks (e.g., HACCP,
    ISO 22000) and embed regulatory requirements in factory processes.
  • Audits & Inspections: Conduct internal and mock audits to ensure the factory is always
    “audit-ready” and meets inspection standards.
  • Real-Time Monitoring: Use IoT and data analytics to monitor food safety systems and
    address deviations immediately.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with R&D, maintenance, and sustainability
    teams to innovate while maintaining compliance.
  • Training Programs: Build a compliance culture through workshops, employee training,
    and ambassador programs.
  • Incident Management: Lead crisis responses for food safety issues, recalls, or
    compliance failures, using root cause analysis.
  • Labelling Compliance: Ensure all product labels meet legal and company standards,
    incorporating real-time updates.
  • Supplier Compliance: Track supplier adherence to standards and maintain traceability
    for raw materials and products.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain a digital dashboard for compliance metrics and
    prepare regulatory submissions.
  • Regulatory Engagement: Liaise with regulatory bodies, stay updated on changes and
    represent the factory in industry events..

Job Requirement

  • 1. Education:
    ○ Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related
    fields.
    ○ Certification in regulatory affairs or food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO
    22000, GMP) is an advantage.

  • 2. Experience:
    ○ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the food
    manufacturing industry.
    ○ Hands-on experience with factory audits, food safety systems, and incident
    management.

  • 3. Skills:
    ○ In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations
    ○ Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and problem-solving.
    ○ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional
    collaboration.
