– 500g chicken, cut into small pieces
– 2 large onions, thinly sliced
– 2 cloves garlic, chopped
– 2 tablespoons Puteri Cili Giling
– 4 tablespoons Puteri Tomato Sauce
– 2 tablespoons Puteri Cili Sauce
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Cooking oil
– Green onions for garnish
1. Marinate the chicken pieces with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper for about 30 minutes.
2. Heat a little cooking oil in a wok over medium heat. Saute the chopped garlic until fragrant.
3. Add the marinated chicken pieces to the wok and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the wok and set aside.
4. In the same wok, add a little more oil if necessary and sauté the onion until soft and caramelized.
5. Once the onion is caramelized, add the cooked chicken back to the wok.
6. Add the Puteri Cili Giling, Puteri Tomato Sauce, and Puteri Chili Sauce to the wok, stirring well to coat the chicken and onion.
7. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly and coats the chicken well.
8. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding salt, pepper, or sugar to your taste.
9. Once the sauce has thickened and the chicken is fully coated, remove from heat.
10. Garnish with chopped spring onions before serving.
11. Serve hot with soft rice and enjoy delicious Ayam Bawang with quality sauces from Puteri!
