Ingredients

 

  • 1 kg prawns

  • 4 cloves garlic, blended *

  • 2 large red chillies, blended *

  • 1 inch ginger, blended *

  • 1 inch galangal, blended *

  • 4 ladles of Puteri Cili Giling *

  • 1 packet tom yum paste

  • 6 tbsp chilli sauce Puteri

  • 6 tbsp oyster sauce Puteri

  • 6 lime leaves

  • 1 piece tamarind

  • Long beans (cut into pieces)

  • Seasoning (optional)

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • Cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and sauté all blended ingredients marked (*) until fragrant.

  2. Add Puteri chilli giling, tom yum paste, Puteri chilli sauce, and Puteri oyster sauce. Cook until the oil separates.

  3. Add sugar, seasoning, lime leaves, and tamarind slice. Mix well.

  4. Add the prawns and cook until they turn pink and are fully cooked.

  5. Add the long beans and stir briefly to keep them crunchy.

  6. Turn off the heat and serve hot

 

Note: Tamarind juice and salt can be omitted because Puteri Chili Giling is already 3-in-1 (contains onion, tamarind, and salt).
