Laksa Sarawak is a spicy, coconut-based noodle soup from Sarawak, topped with prawns, chicken, egg strips, and herbs. Rich, aromatic, and uniquely Malaysian.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • Puteri Chili Giling (already prepared with salt & tamarind – no need to add more!)
  • Puteri Oyster Sauce
  • Puteri Thick Soy Sauce
  • Puteri Sea Butter
  • Lemongrass (pounded)
    Coconut Milk

 

Additional ingredients:

  • Laksa noodles/vermicelli
  • Boiled eggs
  • Boiled shrimp
  • Spray beans
  • Coriander leaves/scallions
  • Kasturi lime

Instructions

  1. Sauté the Puteri ingredients with lemongrass until fragrant. Add water, coconut milk, and seasoning.
  2. Let the sauce boil and thicken.

 

Tip: With Puteri Mentega Laut, there’s no need to bother with mashing the belacan. It’s faster, but still umphh!
